The United Nations has removed a plea for lesbians, gays and bisexuals not to be executed in a narrow vote. The vote was supported by several countries who currently have the death penalty for homosexuals.
Thirteen activists were arrested at the White House after handcuffing themselves to the fence and gluing the locks. They were protesting the ban on lesbian gay and bi troops serving in the US military.
